Our policies regarding refunds and cancellations for donations.
Effective Date: 27 August 2026
AL MUSTAFA CHARITABLE TRUST appreciates every contribution made towards our charitable activities and programmes. We aim to ensure that all online donations made through our website www.amcharitabletrust.in are processed securely and transparently.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which a donation may be considered for refund or cancellation and the process for reporting payment-related issues.
Donations made to AL MUSTAFA CHARITABLE TRUST through the website are voluntary charitable contributions.
Donors are requested to carefully review the donation amount and payment details before completing a transaction.
Once a donation has been successfully processed, a cancellation request may not be possible because the contribution may be recorded in the Trust's financial and donation records.
However, if you have made an accidental, duplicate or incorrect donation, you may contact us as soon as possible with the transaction details. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and handled in accordance with applicable laws and the Trust's policies.
If the same donation amount has been charged more than once due to a technical or payment processing error, the donor may contact us for verification.
After verifying the duplicate transaction, the Trust may initiate or process an appropriate refund where applicable.
In some cases, money may be deducted from a donor's bank account, card or UPI account while the donation transaction remains pending or is not immediately reflected on our website.
Such transactions may require verification with the relevant payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
Donors should contact us with the transaction/reference ID, date, donation amount and registered contact details so that we can verify the transaction status.
Refund requests may be considered in circumstances such as:
Approval of a refund is subject to verification of the transaction and applicable legal, banking and payment gateway requirements.
Donations that have been properly processed and recorded may generally not be refundable solely because the donor has changed their mind.
Refunds are not guaranteed and will be considered according to the circumstances of the request, applicable law and the Trust's verification process.
To request a refund or report a payment issue, please contact us using the contact details provided below.
Please provide the following information wherever available:
The Trust may verify the transaction with the applicable payment gateway, bank or other payment service provider before approving a refund.
We may request additional information reasonably required to verify the identity of the donor and the transaction.
Once a refund is approved, the refund will generally be initiated to the original payment method used for the transaction, where technically and legally possible.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the donor's bank account, card account or UPI account may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
The Trust does not control the processing time of banks, card networks, UPI systems or third-party payment service providers.
Where applicable, payment gateway or transaction processing charges may be deducted or handled according to the policies and terms of the relevant payment service provider.
Any refund, including the amount eligible for refund, may be subject to applicable payment processing rules and charges.
If you believe that a transaction was made without your authorization, please contact your bank or payment service provider immediately and inform the Trust with the relevant transaction details.
The Trust may cooperate with the payment gateway, bank or competent authority in investigating suspicious, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
Where applicable, a donation receipt or acknowledgement may be issued based on the information provided by the donor and confirmation of the successful transaction.
In case of a successfully refunded donation, the corresponding donation record or receipt may be adjusted, cancelled or otherwise treated in accordance with applicable accounting and legal requirements.
Online donations may be processed through third-party payment gateways or payment service providers.
Such providers may have their own terms, refund procedures and processing timelines. Their services are subject to their respective policies and applicable laws.
AL MUSTAFA CHARITABLE TRUST reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our donation process, payment arrangements, legal requirements or operational practices.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.
